Privacy in Moonraker for ChatGPT

This policy covers Moonraker's hosted ChatGPT integration: technical website readability scans, the published practice-question library, and the client value calculator. Our website privacy policy covers visits to moonraker.ai and its separate forms and services.
What Moonraker receives
When ChatGPT calls a Moonraker tool, it sends the inputs for that operation: a public website URL, or a profession and country for the question library. Opening the calculator needs no financial inputs. Our tools do not request your chat history, name, email, account login, patient records or clinical information. Do not include private information, credentials or patient details in a website URL.
We retrieve public website content to perform the requested scan and return findings, evidence and limitations to ChatGPT. Question requests retrieve Moonraker's existing published library. Website URLs are normalized to their public origin before scanning; path, query and fragment information is not used for the analysis.
Your calculator figures
Calculations run in the calculator component in your browser using Moonraker's existing website formulas. The Moonraker tool server has no endpoint for receiving those figures. Selecting "Share assumptions and results with ChatGPT" explicitly sends them into your conversation. Figures you type directly into chat are also processed by ChatGPT. OpenAI's own terms, privacy policy and your account settings govern that processing.
Why we use data and who receives it
We use tool inputs and public content to provide the operation you requested, avoid duplicate scans, protect the service and diagnose errors. Our service runs on OVH infrastructure. The question library uses Moonraker's existing hosted service and database infrastructure. Public-site scan requests are received by the website being checked and its hosting providers. Results are returned to OpenAI for your ChatGPT conversation.
This integration does not sell personal information, subscribe you to newsletters, create marketing leads, send emails or change your website. It has no advertising or behavioural tracking. This privacy page has no analytics or third-party embeds.
Storage and retention
- Scans: results and failures are held in server memory to reuse identical requests. A cleanup timer removes each cached entry five minutes after the run finishes. Restarting the service clears this memory. No saved-report database or public report-retrieval account is created.
- Operational logs: the application records protocol method, response status and duration, not tool inputs, website content, conversation text or calculator figures. These logs rotate at 5 MB with at most two files.
- Usage counts: we keep daily totals by tool, outcome (successful, partial or failed), and response time, with signed operational tests counted separately. These aggregates support our internal Client HQ report. They contain no tool inputs, website URLs, chat content, user or conversation identifiers, IP addresses, or calculator figures. We retain 400 daily buckets, with daily cleanup. We cannot use these totals to identify or delete an individual person's contribution. Question-library links to our website carry campaign tags so our separate website analytics can identify visits from the plugin.
- Hosting access logs: the HTTPS proxy records request metadata such as connection IP address, request path, time, user agent and response status. For ChatGPT tool calls, the connection normally comes from OpenAI infrastructure. Request bodies are not logged. Files rotate at 10 MB; up to five rotated files are retained, with a 30-day limit on rotated files. The active file is retained until rotation, so this is not a fixed 30-day deletion promise for every access record.
- ChatGPT history: OpenAI controls retention of your conversation and tool results under its policies and your settings. Disconnecting Moonraker does not delete ChatGPT history.
Your choices
Choose which tool to run and which public website to provide. Use the calculator without sharing its results. Disconnect Moonraker in ChatGPT to stop future calls. Use ChatGPT's own controls to manage conversation history. Contact us to ask about information Moonraker holds, request access, correction or deletion, or report a privacy concern. We may need enough information to locate a request; do not send patient records, passwords or financial inputs.
